Schooled in the United States with Master of Fine Arts degrees in printmaking and painting from the Pratt Institute.

High profile collections include drawings in The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Merchant Ivory Productions, the Royal Family of The Netherlands, and many corporate and private collections in the United States and Europe including Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette, and The Dryfus Collection. His mural work can be seen in The White House, Blair House, and the Diplomatic Reception Rooms at The State Department in Washington D.C., and in the period rooms of The Metropolitan Museum's American Wing.
